We can empower our children to take steps to prevent global warming and pollution by maybe connecting the two of those things and by slowly teaching them that their actions matter, and their actions as individuals matter, and that as a group actually make change. And my kids, when they were little, I think I scared them a little bit about climate change and global warming and maybe talked about it too early in too severe a way, but I think it's really important and essential for kids to understand the bigger picture and then be able to connect the micro, or the small bits that they can do that will, in fact, impact those bigger issues at hand. So once again, it's about how we consume the amount of water that we use, the amount of electricity that we use, how often we drive, how much – obviously – oil we use. Those things all have to be relatable to kids and they have to understand that plastic bottles come from oil, that water is precious and endangered – if you will – and I think once you make those connections, they will, in fact, be the ones to help us prevent climate change.
