Transcription:
Flow experiences usually start when a person is confronted by a challenge that they can manage. So when challenges and your skills are in more or less in balance that’s when people enter this flow state. If there’s too much challenge, you feel worried, anxious. If there’s too little challenge, you feel bored and out of it. For instance, children in school most of the time in science and math feel anxious – the challenge is too high and most of the other subjects, they feel bored, because they feel the challenge is too low. And it’s hard to bring the two together, but when they are together, that’s when flow happens.
