Yes, it is possible that you will be successful a second time around. I think it's definitely not you that has the problem, I think that sometimes different children have difficulty doing different things. Don't feel like you are the one who is doing it wrong. I always felt like I was the one that wasn't latching him on correctly or that it was all me. I came to find out, once I had my second child, it went a lot smoother. She latched on right away, and the experience was totally different the second time. You should definitely keep going.
