Keeping Poisons Away from Baby

Unless your child is not breathing, having seizures, or is unresponsive, call poison control. There are thousands of toxic chemicals in our environment and there are plenty of ways you can keep your baby safe from them.
- In general, if a child becomes in contact with any poisonous substance, give us a call at Poison Control. However, if the child is not breathing or is having a seizure or is unresponsive, then these are reasons to bypass Poison Control and call 911 for the immediate medical emergency attention that the child will need.
