The incidence of childhood obesity are on the rise because our children are not getting the nutrition that they need, yet they're getting probably triple the calories that they should have. The reduction for funding for PE I'm sure has an impact, as well as the time our kids spend indoors on video games. I think again as a family one of the broader ways we can look at this issue is the breakdown of maybe the family dinner. And a good friend of mine wrote a book called The Family Dinner, and she says "every issue passes the dinner plate." So I think if we could all maybe start eating dinner together and talking about some of these issues we could actually help make an impact.
