    Dr. Grogan is a practicing pediatric orthopedist in Santa Monica, California. He has seen over 40,000 patients in his practice alone. Dr. Grogan graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Biology and received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  Dr. Grogan’s orthopedic training has included an orthopedic residency at UCLA plus several orthopedic fellowships in pediatric orthopedics, trauma, and NIH sponsored joint replacement surgery. Following his orthopedic training he returned to Los Angeles, spending six years at Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children, including serving as Assistant Chief in 1996 and 1997. In addition to his clinical practice, he spent several years involved in managed care consulting as an orthopedic surgeon and has developed special expertise in this area. He has collaborated with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons in the development of a handbook and audiotape entitled, Health Care Reform and Managed Care: A Guidebook for Orthopedic Surgeons. In addition, he has served as the lead faculty member for the AAOS for their 1995, 12 city educational seminar, “Taking Charge: Managed Care Contracting for Orthopaedic Surgeons” and as a faculty member for the AAOS’s 1996 seminar series entitled, “Winning at Risk: The Interplay of Cost, Quality, and Access in Orthopaedic Practice”.  He most recently served as a faculty member for the AAOS’s 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 seminars, “Practice Management Symposium for Practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons’. He is currently chairman of the Practice Management Committee for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of their Council on Education. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, Honor Medical Society, the Sigma XI Scientific Research Society, California Orthopaedic Association (COA), the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), and is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

    Susan Eiges Hansen, president of Hansen College Strategies, is an Independent College Counselor based in Santa Monica, California. Since 2007, Sue has been committed to helping students both in California and throughout the United States navigate the college admissions process and develop optimal strategies for college placement. Sue began her practice working with student-athletes and experienced so many successful placements that she frequently received requests to work with all types of students. She has since expanded her practice and welcomes all students who are seeking knowledgeable and comprehensive college planning. Sue received her Bachelors degree from the University of Florida and Masters from California State University Northridge. She has her certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California at Irvine and stays up to date with trends in higher education by attending several college counseling conferences per year. Sue is a member of WACAC (Western Association for College Admission Counseling) and an Associate member of IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association). She is a frequent contributor to various higher education and college admissions websites as an author, panelist, and blogger and regularly presents seminars and talks for students and families about preparing for college.     John J Ratey, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, Research Synthesizer, Speaker, and Author, as well a Clinical Psychiatrist maintaining a private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He has lectured and published 60 peer reviewed articles on the topics of Aggression, Autism, ADHD, and other issues in neuropsychiatry.

    Dr. Ratey has authored A Users Guide to the Brain and co-authored Shadow Syndromes  with Catherine Johnson, PhD. From 1994 to 2005 he co-authored Driven to DistractionAnswers to Distraction and Delivered from Distraction with Edward Hallowell, MD. Additionally, he has edited several books including The Neuropsychiatry of Personality Disorders. Most recently, Dr. Ratey has penned, Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain published by Little Brown. In Spark, Dr. Ratey guides the reader to an understanding of neurobiology and inspires the reader to reach for their potential, and embrace exercise that is crucial for the brain and body to operate at peak performance.

    Peter L. Stavinoha, PhD, ABPP, is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist in Dallas, Texas.  He directs the Neuropsychology Service at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and he is Professor in Psychology/Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He was named Distinguished Psychologist for 2005 by the Dallas Psychological Association. Dr. Stavinoha specializes in the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional aspects of developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury in children. As a general parenting expert, he is regularly interviewed in the media, Dallas morning television, Parents and Parenting Magazines, and numerous parenting blogs. Together with Sara Bridget Au, he is co-author of Stress-Free Potty Training. He has also authored several chapters in scholarly texts on subjects ranging from pediatric concussion to brain tumors in children. Dr. Stavinoha received a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Stavinoha completed a residency in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and is a member of the American Psychological Association, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Dr. Stavinoha has a 16-year old son named Joe.

    Timothy J. Wheeler, the managing partner of the law firm Greene, Broillet & Wheeler LLP.  He has extensive trial experience in a variety of areas including product liability, general negligence and auto product liability. Tim was named the Lawyer of the Year in Product Liability by Best Lawyers in America for 2013. He was a three-time finalist for the prestigious Trial Lawyer of the Year Award, presented by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), for his outstanding trial record and involvement and commitment to consumer rights. Tim is a graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, CA (J.D., 1978), Tim attended Santa Clara University (BS, cum laude, Political Science, 1975), and was a recipient of the Jesuit Scholarship. While at Loyola High School, Tim's excellence in all areas of student life was recognized by the faculty, which bestowed upon him The Loyola Award. Tim and his wife Nancy reside in Manhattan Beach,  have been married for 37 years and have four adult children, Matt, Tim, Danny, and Mary and two grandchildren, Lily and Grace.

    Neil Tardio is a Los Angeles based director whose work spans across commercials, music videos, television/web series, and screenwriting.  He has won numerous awards including four Cannes Lions, four Clios, two London Art Directors Awards, 12 Addys, and 30 Tellys, exceeding more than 100 honors. His spot "Joint Man", for A Partnership with a Drug Free America, was nominated for an Emmy.

    After graduating from Boston University, Tardio began his career as an agency producer and writer for such agencies as Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB/Chicago before launching into a full time directing career. Tardio’s first assignment as a director was to create the 1992 Peabody Award winning “Rock The Vote” special for Madonna.

    Tardio went on to direct 32 episodes of a children’s sports program called PE TV, which aired on channel 1, and then ESPN.  He co-created and directed the web series, Lifeisode.   Tardio has directed music videos for numerous acts, most notably for The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Queen Latifia.  His original screenplay, Son of Santa, was sold to United Artists and he is currently writing a television series with Mitch Hurwitz. Tardio is attached to direct the feature film ShortCut Man based on the critically acclaimed novel by  P.G. Sturges.  

    Tardio’s work packs the double whammy - funny and award winning. Now at Third Street Mining Company, his work exhibits realistic characters, witty style, and an attention to detail that exemplifies the highest standard of commercial work. He recently finished major successful campaigns for ESPN, Coke, AT&T, Volkswagen, Virgin, Budweiser, and Burger King to name a few.
