Transcription:
Someone that is less than 35 and presumably in their prime of reproductive capacity may want to see a fertility doctor if they have been attempting to conceive and have not done so within a year. Some of the reasons that may become evident as their evluation is underaken is that, for example, she may have fallopian tubes that are damaged. A prior pelvic infection in college may have very well closed off the fallopian tubes and are now not allowing her to conceive naturally. She may also not be ovulating normally or releasing an egg monthly. And in order to detect that, some tests can simply be done to evaluate whether ovulation is occurring and occurring regularly so as to target ideal timing for fertility.

Dr. David Tourgeman, Infertility Specialist, explains when women under 35 should go to a fertility specialist.
