I actually have some advice on traveling with toddlers and infants. I live in Sweden and my sister lives in the United States. Quite often, we have to do a lot of traveling to see her. When you are booking tickets to go overseas, ask for the seat where you get the bassinet. That's important. It's like a crib. There is only one or two seats that have that, so ask for that. The starting and landing is very painful for the kids ears, so remember to bring toys or candy to distract them. Candy is good because chewing helps the ears. When we are traveling with our youngest, my wife used to breastfeed him for starting and landing. That was a good trick. Once you are airborne, you need something to distract them also because you have to keep them in their seats, but they are kids. Their natural instinct is to move around. For that purpose, a portable DVD or an iPad is great. It keeps them busy for hours and hours.
