As a stay at home dad, I am actually in charge of most of the meals in my house, about 80 percent. I make breakfast for the kids in the morning. I make them their lunches when they go to school or I make them their lunches when they're staying home for summer if they are not at camp, and I make most of the dinners during the week; five or six days out of the week I make dinner and I have personally found that this is one of the great avenues of exploration and growth as a stay at home dad is learning to cook, dealing with different spices, different flavors, getting the children involved in cooking. Cooking is like music. It's been around for thousands of years. There's thousands of things to pick up on and it's a great way to reinvent yourself as a person and as a parent.

Scott LenzStay-at-Home Dad
Scott Lenz was born in Lewisberg, Pennsylvania. By the time he reached 9th grade, he had been to eight schools, which explains a lot about his social awkwardness. However, his wife Suzanne and two kids - Jaron, 13 and Georgia, 10 - went to less than five schools combined, so it all evens out.
He was the original rat mascot for Chuck E. Cheese, and since then has been a record store manager, music journalist, television documentarian and, most recently and importantly, a stay-at-home dad. His single greatest hope is that ABBA will one day reunite.
