By far, the most power force in life for development, joy, confidence, health; is the force of connection.
At it's most distilled, we call it love. I think that bond between parent and child is the single strongest emotion in all of human existence. Then it spreads out into what I call, a connected childhood. It is the greatest gift you can give your child. Guess what? It's free. The force of connection is infinite in supply. Just go for it. So connection to family, connection to neighborhood, connection to friends, connections to the activities you love, connections to places, connection to pets. You ought to have a pet if you possibly can. Connection to nature, connection to clubs and organizations. Connections to some spiritual reality.
All of that wonderful gamush of a positive energy and connection. All of that leads to a positive connection to who he or she is, and of life. I like myself, and I like life. Once that gets going, you are unstoppable. It is all driven by the force of connection. Connection is infinite in supply, simply for creation of a child. Get as richly, positively connected to a child as you can and the rest will take care of itself.
