Foster to Adopt is you and your partner go in specifically to adopt a child from the foster system. So my husband and I went in specifically to get homestudied. You need to go through a whole homestudy. You need to take parenting classes, like 30 hours of parenting classes. You have to have proof of health insurance and car insurance and medical records and financials, etc, etc. so the country can approve you as fostadoptive parents. There are programs where you get homestudied just to become a foster parent and those situations for the children are very temporary. And those foster parents try to then find along with their county social workers and their therapists to try to find the appropriate home for that child. Once that child becomes available for adoption, people like Rick and I are contacted. And we either are encouraging of the situation or we pass on the situation. With our particular situation with our little girl, we were very excited about so we sort of pursued her once we were notified that we became candidates to adopt her. And so that has been just amazing for us.

Adoptive Mom

Stacy Earl broke onto the music scene with RCA and her self-titled album, STACY EARL. The album delivered three top ten singles, “Love Me All Up,” “Romeo & Juliet” and “Slowly.” The first single, “Love Me All Up,” jumped 27 points on the Billboard Hot 100 in its second week on the chart. The follow-up, “Romeo And Juliet” was the most added single in America – a first ever for a new female artist. In Japan, the record was second only to Michael Jackson. With a multi-octave voice that transcends the merely technical, with a heart-stopping blend of youthful innocence and worldly sophistication, Stacy brings an unmistakable signature to every song she sings. The New York Daily News compared Stacy to Bessie Smith and Dinah Washington in her “breathy, understated style that projects a subdued, yet driving sensual energy that is always classy and never crude.” Interview Magazine described Stacy’s demeanor as “blissing out on R&B ballads, pop, and bubble-funk”. It called the debut album “optimistic and seductive”, and added that “Stacy Earl runs on smile power.”
