Replacing car seats after accidents

One of the issues when your car seat is in an accident is that people don't always know or even think about is that sometimes, depending on the crash -- and it might not be so severe -- it can cause hairline cracks within the seat. We wouldn't know that unless we x-rayed the seat. The standard is, depending on the state you live in, your insurance company has to replace your car seat from a fender-bender on up. In some states, there is a process that you have to go through. They are different state by state. It would be nice if it was a blanket, you get in a crash, you have to replace your car seat. Nobody can guarantee that it is fine. There might be a problem or a hairline crack in it.
