Moms have babies in cold weather climates as well as sunny climates and its totally fine. Babies have a little more difficulty regulating their body temperature then we do. So you do want to keep a close eye on infant. I usually recommend trusting your baby in one more layer then you are wearing. So if you are going to go outside, use several layers because that should go from outdoors to indoors, you may have to pull off layers and add layers to your baby who might be in the stroller in the car seek carrier. One important I like to remind parents is that you don’t want a lot of layers between your baby and the car seat straps so it’s best to put them in a warm sleeper. Put them in the car seat and then put another blanket or layer on top of them. Usually the problem is more over bundling than under bundling. And you want to make sure the babies don’t get over heated. So whether you are indoors or outdoors, fill their nose, fill their cheeks and if they little too warm, take a layer off. And if they feel a little too cold, put another layer on. Use your common sense when taking your baby out in a blizzard. If it’s freezing for you, than your baby shouldn’t be outside, but if you have to get somewhere, just wrap up your baby and take them with you and just keep an eye on them, and make sure they are looking happy and feeling comfortable.
