It is not easy to keep peace in the mommy wars, especially at school, but here's the biggest tip. Don't judge. If you're a working mom, don't judge the moms for working. If you're not a working mom, don't judge the moms who do have to work. The problem is, I think we're all so insecure about the choices we're making as parents. And we think someone else perhaps has it harder or better or different. So we feel better when we judge them. But if you can just give that mom a hand. Or give her something to talk about. So if you're a working mom, don't walk in and say what a great day you had at the office. And don't whine because you're the one who had to work so hard. If you're a non-working mom, don't judge that mom who can't be there for all the school meetings. The more tolerance we have of each other, chances are the better off we'll all be as moms.
