Any thoughts? I need help

Posted February 23, 2017 - 8:26pm

Hi all,
My son is a type-1 juvenile diabetic patient and he’s 16 years old. Even though he is eating enough, he is experiencing sudden weight loss. He’s fatigue all the time. His doctor advised him to follow a proper diet and to work out properly along with the regular medications. At present, he is getting exercise with the help of his gym instructor. While browsing about diabetic treatments, I happened to read an article on diabetics and physiotherapy treatments ( http://dynamicphysiotherapy.ca/blog/physiotherapy-and-diabetics/can-phys... ). It explains that physiotherapy will help us to reduce the complication of diabetes. Does anyone here had tried physiotherapy to ease the diabetic problems? Is it effective? I’m thinking to recommend physiotherapy instead of normal exercise for my son. But before that, I need to know whether his age is suitable for such treatments. Please share your thoughts about this.
