One of the scariest things is to get the diagnosis of unexplained infertility. It’s incredibly hard because there is nothing to fix, you have no idea what’s wrong with you. You can keep throwing drugs at your body and sperm inside of you and go to acupuncture and pray, but it may never happen. I think one of the things that you have to talk to yourself about is how much are you willing to go through, how much are you willing to put your body through, and how much money do you have to keep trying. I tried 13 times and that’s for people in the know, it was 13 IUI’s, which means 13 times a doctor fed a catheter through me and put sperm directly in my uterus and those 13 times never achieved a pregnancy, but I knew I wanted to be a mom and I just squeezed every inch from my savings, had I went to a different clinic, I tried different programs they had there and finally, it was through IVF I conceived my son. Of course, before I conceived my son I also had a miscarriage which is devastating but I knew I had to keep going and so I did, and I was so lucky.
