I agree that some kids do use drugs occasionally. We're all faced with the fact that kids are going to experiment. The idea is to know who your kid is, what they are doing, and look for the other behavioral changes. Drugs and alcohol are symptoms of what's going on with kids. If you know who your kid is and your kid is starting to make changes, all the stuff that they are doing: the people that they are hanging with; the way that they are dressing; the way that they behave in front of their friends and family. You have to really take a look at what's going on with the kid. We know that older kids are going to experiment. It's very important not to overreact. It's age related. If you've got a 17 year old kid, you can expect they are going to be curious. If you have a 12 year old, they really don't understand what's going on in the world and you need to help them understand what it's all about.
