You can make your child smart phone safe by turning on the safety settings. Parents, it's really important to understand that when you give your child a smart phone it's the same thing as putting a computer in the palm of their hand. Likely the computer at home you have content filters and other restrictions. While it's easiest to do on the iPhone, you can do it as well on the Android. You can do everything from completely not allowing internet access. You can go to the safety settings and restrict the types of apps that they're able to download, or in app experiences or you can restrict explicit lyrics or the type of content they can see. Next, if you are going to allow your child to browse the internet, get rid of the browser that comes on your child's smart phone and download one of the many free browsers that come on your smart phone that allow your child to safely browse the internet. I encourage you as well to utilize software that will monitor their activities and block concerning sites. Now if you're worried about being able to remember this all or how to do it, don't worry. We have step by step picture instructions at YourSpherehforParents.com
