When it comes to maintaining or ending a relationship with a persons in-law after your partner dies, I think that is sort of up to that family. For me, I became much closer to my in-laws. it was for my daughter that is extremely important, I really want her to know my wife's parents and I wanted her to know her sister. And I wanted to make sure that they are always in her life. And I wanted them to know that there is never a possibility that they are not going to be there. So for me it was important to strengthen those relationship that I already have. So strong that they will never be broken. To the point where I privileged these family members now. My family I consider them even over my blood relatives. I really do because my blood relatives, my mom, my dad, my brothers will always be there, they will always be a part of my life. but I want Lisa's family, all my family to know that they will always be a part of my daughter's life and my life as well.
