I'm Dr. Charlotte Reznick. I'm a child educational psychologist and author of The Power of Your Child's Imagination: How to Transform Stress and Anxiety into Joy and Success, published by Penguin. I'm also the creator of several CDs, therapeutic relaxation CDs for kids, teens and parents, and the creator of Imagery for Kids, which is a positive coping skills program. I really believe and my passion in life is that kids have their own answers and I'm here to help them not only be okay no matter what's going on, but to thrive in whatever challenges they face in this 21st Century. My own experience has been growing up in New York, on the streets of New York, some very street savvy, but I'm also lived in Europe for several years where I picked up French just like a baby does, kind of by osmosis. Now that I live in LA for the last many years, I also added Spanish to that repertoire. And, I love to travel, so I combined my passion for travel, passion for knowing people from other cultures, and I offer workshops all over the globe on the healing power of children's imagination. I'm just thrilled with the work I do and the life I lead.
