I think the way to get your kids interested in eating healthy foods is to involve them in cooking food. I mean I did this really funny project. I was in a blog about this, it lasted 2 weeks by the way, but I took him to the farmers market and I said "Okay, every Sunday we are going to go and you are going to pick out the food that we are going to eat". And he was really excited about it and one week it was like broccoli and all these great things that he loves to eat. Then the next week I think it was like a watermelon and a bean and I thought okay, I've got to start doing something else. But whatever it was, it was really fun because he got involved and he couldn't wait to come home and start cooking the food and stirring it. He know you know, to stay away from the stove but mommy can hold him over it and we can cook together. And then he can't wait to eat what he has cooked and i think that's exciting for them. It's a great project and it makes them know what whole foods are like. Also we planted a garden,is another thing that we did. He loves his garden and he is so proud when he sees his broccoli sprouting. He can't wait to eat it or his kale, and he loves all those foods because he grew them, and mommy and Jack are going to figure out how to cook them together
