As a new parent you're always warned of not being able to sleep. So going into this I knew this was going to be an issue and we researched everything and came upon Harvey Karp and the Happiest Baby on the Block. We ordered his DVD and watched it that night and implemented all of his stuff, from swaddling and swooshing and swaying, all of the good stuff. Hunter literally slept one hour longer that first night and it continued to increase. It would go up to five hours and even six hours. So we got some good sleep, really from the beginning and the best part of it is I feel like I have a little trick in the bag which with the white noise, because any time Hunter is upset or getting fussy, I can use the white noise. And it happens that there's an app for that. So on my cellphone I click on the white noise and he immediately mellows out and calms down, is able to kind of be able to get back into himself and relax. And he's a great baby again.
