What Is Your Favorite Video?

Posted March 28, 2014 - 4:01pm
I'm curious as to which videos are people's favorites, as well as which experts have been most helpful to other parents. For me, Dr. Dan Siegel's video about how to prevent flipping your lid and yelling at your children has been very helpful for my family and me.

I'm a huge fan of Lee Hausner!  So glad she is on this site...they have more of her here than I can find anywhere else.  I went to one of her lectures and was great but she doesn't get to my neck of the woods often!

LOVE Geena Davis and her videos-- gender equality comes up in a lot of what she says and that is super important to me and I hope my two children (one boy and one girl) will have equal pay and opportunities, too.

Michael J. Bradley's advice has been SO helpful. This video on dealing with an angry son is great. It's really given me a good idea for what to do with my son.

I love Dr. G's emphasis on allowing children to deal with their problems themselves. I have to resist the urge to be a bulldozer parent and remove all the problems from my children's paths, but I know better now! The three R's are key: respect, responsibility, reliance. Great advice from Dr. G.
