Do You Always Do Dinner Together as a Family?

Because of my schedule, we aren’t always able to do family dinners in the evenings. We usually make family dinners dedicated to the weekends. Do you do dinner together every night?

We don't either because of different schedules but we do try to at least a few times every week.

Okay that is refreshing. I felt like we should be doing it more, but time is always so rushed as it is, with school in session now.

My hubby is home by 4 everyday and we have dinner right away. We do eat together but it's really rushed due to sports. We have extended family dinners on Sundays sometimes which are always a lot of fun.

We try, but with my husband not getting home until 7:30 or 8 it's not possible most nights, since the kids go to bed a 8. I do eat together with all the kids together though.

We do often but not always. I try to take the opportunities when they are there and don't worry about it when it doesn't work out. Makes meal planning tricky, though.

We usually ate stuff after I cooked it unless a kid was busy away from home.

We try as much as we can. Now that they are 15 and 17 they are very busy - my daughter has choir and is a part time nanny. My son coaches cross country, takes driver's ed and plays on a year round baseball team. During the summer we see each other more often. When they were little we ate together 7 nights a week!
