Lasik surgery while being pregnant

Posted April 8, 2017 - 12:23am

Hey, I am three months pregnant. I was working as a teacher and has resigned from my job when I came to know that I was pregnant.
Now, I am in my home. I have a poor eyesight and has to wear glasses every time. I thought of having a laser eye treatment. But, I didn't have enough time to get that done. Now, I have plenty of time. I have moved to Boston and have booked an appointment with a lasik surgeon ( http://www.avantlasikspa.com/about/our-doctors/ ) next week.
But, I wanted to know whether it is safe to have this surgery while being pregnant. Will there be any complications? Can it harm my baby?
