What are your plans for this Labor Day Weekend? Picnic or something else.

What are you planning on doing this Labor Day Weekend?
I'll probablly make burgers on the grill, but am really hoping to use the weekend to change kids bedrooms around so that my 3 year old won't be in our bed anymore. It requires painting rooms and moving beds all around so it will be crazy.

You're going to be busy, but what wonderful rewards there will be. We are taking it easy...having a small party for the kids.

I'm trying to get everyone to get moving now or it will never get done. They are all moving like turtles.

We live on a lake so it is bustling around here, we are going swimming now. Later I have to run to the stores for some jeans and new sneakers for my kids-I am always ahead with this stuff, lol. The other days I plan to relax and work by te lake.

We are having a lazy day today...but I volunteer with Marine Mammals at a care center tomorrow...and then we are going to the dog beach and having a bbq. On Labor day, my son and I are doing a Conquer the Bridge walk/run across the Vincent Thomas Bridge..5.3 miles and it is also my husband's birthday..so will be busy the next two days!

I am taking my kids up to the mountains to hike to a waterfall. Hopefully it will be warm enough to jump in. We will pack water and snacks too. Love the long weekend!

Oh How fun. We love hiking. This summer we went to Yellowstone and it was the kids first time hiking and they all love it.

We don't have any big plans. Yesterday we did some yardwork and house work cleaning up from a big storm we had and I went through all the kids clothes for a clothing drive. We did take a break to go out for lunch. Tomorrow we are having a bunch of my son's friends over so they can start their own fantasy football team.

We are going to the Music Festival today. However, tomorrow will be spent preparing for the first day of school on Tuesday.

We just painted all three kids bedrooms this weekend. Going to the store and picking colors with them all was quite interesting. We now have an aqua green room, sky blue and tan walls.
Your Kid's Table
We got an above ground pool here 3 weeks ago and have been constantly entertaining. Of course that is a bit draining but it has been great too. So we will be entertaining our family with grilled chicken. Projects will have to wait for another weekend.
