Where are some of your favorite vacation destinations?

I love anywhere in europe, the beach or the mountains. I frequently go alone & make friends on the way. I think the world is one big party! :)

Your Kid's Table

I have sadly never been to europe, it is on the bucket list though! Hard to imagine when that is going to happen at this point though. I love seeing new places and exploring other cultures. So, I'm up for a lot of places, but I am a beach girl through and through. I could live there!

Never been to Europe either, but I have been to China. While I love the beach, we made a road trip to Yellowstone, Badlands, Mt Rushmore and Grand Tetons this summer and it was one of the families favorite vacations.  In fact my 11 year old is planning another big road trip outwest for next year.  All the kids agree it was better then Disney Land.

We lived in Idaho when I was little and we'd drive to see my grandparents in Minnesota over the summer. I still remember the Grand Tetons. Amazing. I'd love to show my kids. We stopped at Mt. Rushmore one year, too! It was so cool. The caves were awesome. I was like 7 and I still remember it.

Now y'all are making me homesick. Being a Utah native...these are some of my favorite places. My family's favorite vacation was Mt. Rushmore. We just loved the area.

We're looking into going to the 4 corners and I think Utah is one of the states.  What would you suggest not missing there jonbon

Awww...never been to Europe either. I mostly have only been in CA. I look forward to going to Paris one day! Disneyland is on the agenda for my son's upcoming birthday at the end of the month.

Mommy Ramblings

Get me to a whte sand beach in the winter and I am in Heaven. My favorite beach is Caladisi Island in Dunedin, Florida. It is on the Gulf Coast, only accessable by boat and so private. White sand and every evening after high tide all the sand dollars appear. I walk that beach all day and never get tired. Love it there.  Disneyworld and stuff is mostly for the kids but I am weird because I get a lot of anxiety going to those places. You know we need a picture with this character, we have to get to that ride etc. Not at all relaxing and I feel like if I don't get it all orchestrated right it will be a flop. That leads to me being a wreck. LOL  Give me the beach.

Oh that sounds amazing!  We did Disneyland this summer with 2 other families and it was awesome.  I think it was a lot less stressful this way!  I felt like we had more eyes on the kids, hubbies to pick up fast passes etc.  It was way more fun than I thought it would be!  My husband is the type that would get bored at the beach though we are considering a Hawaii trip next.

That sounds amazing! We go to Seaside, FL every summer and love it. We stay just outside the town and go with our friends. I thought I was going to hate Disney World because of my anxiety, but I loved it! I went with a 2yo and 6yo, too! I can't wait to go back. Maybe because I never got to go as a kid.

Until this year we haven't really vacationed.  This year we took the kids to Disneyland.  A few years ago we visited my Sister in Law in Utah which was actually a lot of fun.  Normally we just do camping trips.  The Hubs and I also go to Vegas for a few days alone (or with friends).  I'm looking forward to more family vacations in the future!  I'll be watching this thread for ideas!

I love Disneyland! When my son was younger we had passes. Now, we look forward to going once a year. :)

We are new to the east coast and have been having so much fun discovering new destinations. We love the beach....we love the mountains in Tennessee. Our absolutely favorite vacation was a week in South Dakota. We went to Mt. Rushmore, toured caves and stayed in a house that was built like a tree house with spectacular views. If it's just me and my husband, I love San Francisco. Our first date was here and it is truly an amazing city. I love the diversity and history!

I love San Francisco! Might be my very favorite city. We lived near there for a couple years. I wish we could have stayed out there! Too expensive, though. :(

Oh....I love San Francisco too! Have only been there once but am hoping to visit again this Spring.
