I have 5 kids too and live in Pittsburgh. What's the age spread of your 5 @mommyramblings. Mine are 17 to 3 and I get told all the time, wow that's quite a spread.

Frugal my spread is from 28 to 6. I had three close together and a 13 year gap and then 2 more 1.5 years apart. LOL

My mom grew up in the Phillippines. She lived in Davao. My grandpa was a missionary there.

No I've never been to the Philippines. I did get pretty close when I visited my grandparents in Hong Kong after I graduated from high school. Actually my mom hasn't been back since her college years. However, she and my dad are actually planning a trip there this year for a high school reunion.
