What are the different brain types at the AMA clinics and what causes them. At the AMA, we've been doing thousands of brain scans on thousands of different people over the last 20 years. What we've found is that there are several different brain types. There is not just one single brain type. ADD is not just one brain type. Anxiety and depression are more than just one thing. We can actually see on the brain scans, how the brain is actually is working too hard or not hard enough. Based on that, we can figure out what is going on and try to figure out of approaching treatment. For example, with ADD, there seems to be low activity in the prefrontal cortex. When we know that, we have treatments that help. When you hear about stimulating medications that help ADD, that's what it's for. It's important to understand what is going on in other areas of the brain, so you aren't misdiagnosing and mistreating your kids or yourself.
