There is so much, as far as resources and support groups, and I would imagine that is individual to each person's community. Educate yourself about your community. My favorite support group, the best forum, was the Special Olympics. I became very involved. God Bless my daughter. I was her coach for four years. It's a way to communicate with other parents to see how they relate with their children, to see how other disabled kids relate in different environments. Find out what's in your community that you live in.
