I first noticed how talented Gabrielle was when her older sister, Arielle, started to teach her cartwheels and she was three-years-old, and she was doing perfect cartwheels right off the bat. She didn't need any practice, you know, it didn't take her a couple of times. Pretty much the first one she did was beautiful, and my daughter, Arielle, said, "You need to put her in gymnastics." And Arielle had been a gymnast and so, I guess she recognized her talent, but I could see that it was something that she loved and then by the time she was six I decided to go ahead and, with a little prompting from Arielle, put her in gymnastics. And then my sole thing that I wanted to make sure that I did was to give her something to do that she enjoyed doing. I didn't want her to live out my dream, I wanted her to be happy with her dream, and to be fulfilled with what she wanted to do. And so, I put her in gymnastics, and she loved it. And I think it's so important for parents to find out what their kids enjoy, what their enjoyment is, what they enjoy doing. I think that, as a parent, it's our responsibility to help them find their path in life, and whether it's sports, whether it's academics, I just really believe that it's our job to help support them and help nurture them. I want to make sure that I help all of my children reach their dreams.
