The pimp’s buddies will carry out the body, the man who plays dead, and wrap him in a blanket. The pimp then explains to the girl that she’s killed someone and that in this state, the penalty is typically the electric chair. And so the only way he can help her now is give the police $20 000. But if he gives the police $20 000 so she doesn’t get arrested and go to jail and be killed for murder, she must pay him back. And one of the ways to pay him back is through prostitution. I have worked with many young women who have been victims of this kind of con game. I have learned over the years that it is easier for them to believe that they killed a man who wanted to sexually abuse them, a trick, a customer, than it is to believe that the pimp conned her. Because the customer, the man who pays a child or a young women for sex, represents all of the people who have sexually abused her since she was a little. So he deserves to be tricked or fooled or hurt or manipulated.
