Child prostitution takes place everywhere. It takes place on the streets. It takes place in motels, in hotels, in homes. It takes place everywhere. So, there's no place that's really protected from prostitution. Many people are concerned and want to focus on the internet as one of the cause prostitution but women who work as prostitutes or children who work as prostitutes on the internet also work on the street. And we don't have the same venom against public streets that we do against the internet. Pimps and pedophiles have always communicated through local newspapers prior to the internet. Not just underground newspapers, Pedophiles used to communicate in the personal sections of the Los Angeles Times. And there was a specific police officer at LAPD who would communicate with them to try to identify them, to arrest them for trying to molest little boys and little girls. So, it's really a misnomer to say that the internet created prostitution. It's only one of very many vehicles used to advertise prostitution.
