If you know what you feel, it's going to be a whole lot easier for you to make that emotional connection with your baby. That leads to the secure attachment bond. So emotional intelligence, when you feel your feelings, when you're sensitive, calm, and alert, and you pick up on the emotional cues of your baby, you create a world that's safe and comfortable for that child. And you are also mirroring emotional intelligence to your baby. The easiest, best way for a child to become emotionally intelligent is with an emotionally intelligent parent.
