When you bring your baby home, all you really need is your breast, that comes with you, a few diapers, and a blanket. Although you will have way more than you need. It's really not as important as not what I really need, but how comfortable will my environment be. Best is to keep all receipts because you will have two of everything and you will return most of it. The baby will need a place to sleep. The best place to sleep, for me, is the bed of the parents. But closely means sleeping in the same room. You need to decide about diapers. Are you going to do disposable diapers or are you going to do cloth diapers? What's the best? I don't know. What do you want? Do you have the money for disposable diapers? Do you have the money for cloth diapers? There are a lot of things that you have to stop asking an expert to tell you what to do and start becoming a grown up and decide what do you really need? One thing, though, that most people don't know, is that babies need noise. Remember that silence is not what baby likes. Inside the womb, the baby is used to the vacuum cleaner. Get yourself a noise maker and the baby will sleep a lot better.
