Some of the therapy involves traditional and non-traditional. The traditional forms would be the ABA, the occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy -- am I forgetting any?
Some of the alternatives would be, you know, like horseback riding or many, many different forms that can help socialize your child and help build on their strengths.
What you want to do is look at what's going to be best for your child? What are their strengths and what are their deficiencies and what do you want to strengthen them in. If they have a love for horses, horseback riding can be great. It can help bridge that gap and help them to be more social, when you are talking about things they love.
You can build on that and find their interests. Help them build their potential through that.
