It is important to gather information and get help for your toddler if they are having difficulties regulating, calming themselves. If they are excessively crying. If they have a motor skill delay. If your toddler is not meeting their motor milestones. If they are not crawling, walking within the right time frame. If the are resistant to being held or need to be held. If there are feeding and sleeping difficulties as well, that go beyond what is typical for a child of that age.
