If you are the parent of a child who is bullying or being bullied, it's best to remind your child that bullying is a very common part of all of our lives. The most important thing to remind your child of is the importance to not take it personally. Remind your child that anyone who is sending negative energy toward them is just fearful or insecure or feeling threatened themselves and to approach the situation with as much forgiveness and compassion. And if you are the parent of a child who is themselves bullying, it is important to remind them that in life they will be the receiver of negative energy and to encourage your child to approach a situation with thoughts in mind of how they would feel being on the receiving end instead of just being the aggressor.
