The common mistakes that students make when the plane their high school curriculum, this is an area that I see so frequently when I meet with students That they haven't really given much forethought for high school curriculum. And prologue is really epilogue when it comes to choosing classes in high school because there are certain upper level classes that, if you haven't taken the appropriate prerequisites, particularly in math and foreign language, you can't take those upper level classes when you get to the end of your high school careers. So it's really important to take rigorous classes in high school, to take the most rigorous curriculum that your high school offers, as long as you can do well in those classes. Nobody wants to see kids take classes that are utterly inappropriate and they're going to fail. But stress themselves to take the rigorous classes, and to think about this when they're in freshman year so that down the road, when they're juniors and seniors and they want to take those upper level math and upper level foreign language classes, they've taken the prerequisites early on so that they can qualify for those classes.
