Unschoolers really don't use the word "curriculum" , it's not something that I create. At the same time I wouldn't call unschooling child led, because how is a child supposed to know about all of the wonderful things in the world? So my role instead of creating a curriculum is strewing their path whether that's having lots of cool books and puzzles, and stuff around the house or if it's taking them somewhere interesting or introducing them to someone interesting that I think they might have an interest in what that person does. We do use conventional methods in an on demand basis. For instance if someone wanted to learn, a child wanted to learn algebra, we'd say okay, you need to take an algebra class and a lot of time they'll want to learn algebra because they know in their mind, "I want to be an architect or computer designer. In order for me to continue my education, I'll need to know this ." So that's another really exciting part of unschooling is this desire to learn stuff. The simplest way to look at it is, it's an a la carte menu instead of a prefix.
