I think what every teen needs to know to survive the teenage years is, number one, if they're struggling, it's temporary. It's not always going to be like this. When they're in these situations, they feel like it's going to be like this forever. You know, life's a lot of peaks and valleys, and if they're in a valley, there's a peak on the other side. If they've had a lot of bad days, they've gotten a lot of bad days out of the way. I think that teens also need to know that it's not about how people see you or how they judge you. Teens need to learn how to not care about that. Because if you're really concerned about how others see you, it's gonna be like this throughout the whole rest of your life and it's really gonna have an impact on you and your self-esteem. I think what's most important for teens to know is that they need to focus not just on the positives of themselves which helps elevate their self-esteem, make them feel confidence in themselves. And if you don't see me for who I am or invite me to a party or want to date me, it's your loss. That gives them the confidence and self-esteem they need to go into life. I also think that by looking at what's positive in situations versus negative, they ward off depression, they are more optimistic, and more durable to all the adversity that they're gonna face throughout their adolescence.
