The most common drugs that I see around teens right now ¬– Number 1 is definitely alcohol and marijuana together. Marijuana has become a lot more prevalent with today’s teens, they don’t think it’s a big deal. They can cite all the information on the Internet saying that it’s safe and it’s not a gateway drug. Outside of that, ecstasy is very prevalent right now, as well as pills. Kids are loving taking Xanax, Oxy, Vicodin, Somas to get wasted. And the unfortunate part about the pill thing is that they’re taking 4 to 8 times typically the recommended dosage on the bottle, so a lot of kids are ending up in hospitals, passing out, even OD’ing and dying as a result of partying with pills.
