The benefits of fostering an online community

There are a lot of wonderful things children can do online. There has been research showing that many children find communities that they can't find in their face-to-face communities, and they find communities online. Children with health issues, cancer, children who may feel socially awkward, even playing MineCraft or some of these online video games. They find like-minds and it's nice to build a community in a place where it may be difficult in your day-to-day life to find people who are like you. So there are a lot of wonderful things. Another great thing that kids can do is create a Blogpost or create a Tumblr page, put up a picture, they can learn how to express themselves with words and really get what they're thinking out of their heads, and start to create things. I would encourage your child to do the fun things they can do with media, there are so many wonderful things they can do.
