Many parents are concerned about what we call the Angel's Kiss that occurs here on the forehead or Stork Bite that occurs here at the nape of the neck. These are typically pink to red birthmarks that are present at birth and consist of blood vessels that aren't quite as deep underneath the skin as normal. Typically, these fully resolves over years and a child may be - I don't know, may be 10 or 12, at the time that you see it go away totally. I don't typically 'recommend treating these until a child is significantly older in the teens because they tend to require multiple treatments and tend to be somewhat uncomfortable, if you do want to treat them. Also, by the time a child is that age, they are often resolved enough that they don't bother them anymore.
