There are four different temperaments that I acknowledge that children, and even adults exhibit. The first is the moving center child, which I recognize instantly as the little boy who can not sit still or is constantly needing to move or be on the go. He's the athlete. There's the emotionally centered child who continuously, and probably frustrating for mom and dad, that continuously need that entertainment; hold your hand, sit in your lap; have a conversation; really just be connected. We recommend pets for these children. There's the intellectually centered child, those are the ones who always ask questions. They are also the teachers pet because they are just drawn in and want to know, and explore and discover. Then there is the extinctual child, they are the ones which needs are very easy to recognize. Young babies, for example, may be more easily frustrated, if they are wearing clothes that are a little bit scratchy. The instinctual child, is sensitive to the sights and sounds and easily distracted.
