Circling is an ancient art form that is making a modern comeback. Basically you get a group of women together, moms let´s say, and you pass around a talking stick and what you are doing is creating an intimate way to share information and really be with one another, build community. So I started a mother´s circle for myself and once a month I got together with a group of moms in my living room and we sat in a circle. And we shared one at a time where we were at, what we were struggling with, what we were celebrating in our motherhood, and we created a way to not feel alone with our story, not feel frustrated or challenged or isolated. And within that time period, not only did we build incredible friendships but we took away these pearls of wisdom from one another having shared honeslty what we were going through. And anybody can create a circle.
