Transcription:
Today we see a lot more multiple gestation pregnancies. Pregnancy reduction is offered for people who have quadruplets or triplets, in order to reduce the number of fetuses from say, four to three, or three to two. People don't usually reduce twins, from two to one. The reason why pregnancy reduction is offered is because the more fetuses you have, the higher the risk of pregnancy, the higher the risk of pre-term labor and other untoward events. Therefore, in order to decrease the risk of pre-term labor and other high risk things, people will reduce the pregnancy number from four to three or three to two. This is obviously a very ethical question for people. Not everybody decides to reduce, but it is offered for people with multiple gestation.
