I came to the decision to become pregnant via sperm donor when I was about in my mid-thirties. I was single, you know, the "clock" was ticking and I knew that I had a certain timeframe that I would be successfully fertile and be able to have a child. And then someone came into my life and we had a long standing relationship and then that relationship ended. And back in my mid-thirties I found that I was very much a thinker. I was thinking through the process rather than actually planning. When this last relationship ended, I became a planner and then an executor, and got inseminated this past year.
