Breast tenderness is another common symptom in pregnancy. Usually in the earlier parts of pregnancy it's hormonally related. Hormones are going up quickly as the pregnancy is growing rapidly and your breasts can hormonally be very, very sensitive. Later in the pregnancy, breast tenderness is usually when the milk starts to let down. They can become engorged and become very tender and full. Breast tenderness is probably the best in the middle of the pregnancy because it's not hormonal and it's not engorged. So expect it in the beginning and the end.
