The importance of reading aloud to kids

Even when kids are able to read independently, it's important for parents to read with the kids and to the kids through Elementary and beyond. By doing that, there are three types of benefits. The first is academic. Sometimes parents can offer reading comprehension tips, point out vocabulary that the kids might need, and other academic benefits. Second, there are social benefits. There is great family bonding that occurs when you read aloud to kids. Some very special bonding moments can happen when parents special books to them. Finally, there are motivational benefits because the kids are being successful reading. They have somebody to help them, if they need to. Because they are having such a good time, overall motivation for reading should grow and the kid should be inspired to read on their own or with other people in the future.
